Midfielder leaves after terms not agreed

Dominic Blizzard has left Milton Keynes Dons after failing to agree terms on a contract. The midfielder originally joined MK Dons from Watford on loan towards the end of last season after a spell at Stockport County. He made 10 appearances for the League Two club and featured in the play-off semi-finals as the team missed out on promotion. Blizzard was expected to stay with Paul Ince's side for the long term, but MK Dons have confirmed the player has now left. "Milton Keynes Dons have today parted company with midfielder Dominic Blizzard by mutual consent," read a statement on the club's official website. "After joining the club on loan from Watford last season, a verbal agreement was reached that would see Blizzard make a permanent switch to Milton Keynes. "But after further discussions between Dominic and the club, a decision has been reached whereby he will not enter into the agreed contract."
