Spurs goalkeeper will remain at Keepmoat Stadium for an extra month

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper David Button has extended his loan spell at Doncaster Rovers by a further month. Button, 22, joined Rovers on New Year's Day and has made an instant impression at the Keepmoat Stadium with two clean sheets in four appearances to date. Veteran goalkeeper Neil Sullivan and Wolves loanee Carl Ikeme remain on the sidelines having both undergone thumb surgery. That means Button, who has experienced 12 different loan moves away from Spurs, can expect to remain in Dean Saunders' starting line-up during his second month in South Yorkshire. The England youth international has earned 31 junior caps for his country and has enhanced his reputation while at Doncaster.
