Midfielder wants permanent deal

Peterborough midfielder Toumani Diagouraga says he would relish the chance to join Brentford on a permanent deal. The 25-year-old made 20 appearances on loan with the Bees last season, a stint he admits he thoroughly enjoyed. Diagouraga has now told Posh boss Gary Johnson he would like to switch to Griffin Park permanently should a move be offered. "I met with Gary Johnson and he pretty much said if a club meets their valuation I can go," he told the Gazette. "If not I'll return for pre-season. "I had a very good time at Brentford and enjoyed my six months there. I would really consider coming there permanently, but the clubs can't agree on anything. "It's frustrating. I've just got to sit at home and wait. I don't want to be stuck at Peterborough and not playing because no-one can agree a deal for me."
