Midfielder looking forward to next season under Newell

Grimsby Town midfielder Danny Boshell has signed a new two-year contract at Blundell Park. Boshell has made over 100 appearances since joining the League Two club from Stockport County in 2006. He is confident of a bright future under Grimsby boss Mike Newell and hopes to be challenging for promotion next season. "Obviously it's all been sorted out now and I've signed it," Boshell told the club's official website. "Hopefully we can push on next season and try and get promoted. "I spoke to Mike Newell after the end of the season and there was a couple of things I had to go away and think about. "I think this club is going places under Mike Newell and I was happy to sign again. He gives you confidence and just wants you to go out and play and express yourself. "I believe that the gaffer is trying to sign Peter Sweeney, obviously he'll need a few more players, but he seems to have some good connections. If he can sign someone with that quality the club will be going places."
