Lester set to be out for three weeks

Chesterfield boss Lee Richardson will look to bring in a new striker after losing Jack Lester to injury. Lester suffered a thigh injury in the warm-up before Saturday's 3-1 home defeat to Bury and was replaced after just 16 minutes. He is likely to be sidelined for three weeks and Saltergate chief Richardson hopes to increase his attacking options. "Jack felt something in the warm-up and it was clear after 10 minutes that he wouldn't be able to continue," Richardson told the club's official website. "Losing our main striker threat gave them a lift and everyone is then on a downer, especially after the second goal. "I hope, after talking to the chairman, he will make funds available to bring in a striker, but every club is on the lookout as well, and the type of experienced strikers who are out there, who can make an impact and push both Jack and Jamie (Ward), usually want too much money."
