Rotherham United lost their 100 per cent record at the top of the table as Crawley Town continued their excellent start in the Football League ranks. Hereford United gained a first point of the season, Shrewsbury Town collected a first win and Plymouth Argyle continue to struggle. Andy Scott's Rotherham were twice forced to come from behind to preserve their unbeaten record with the prolific Adam Le Fondre scoring an 82nd minute equaliser in a 2-2 draw at home to Barnet. Crawley are still enjoying life in League Two after an impressive 3-1 win away to Torquay United, who suffered defeat for the first time this season. Hereford secured a first point of the season following a 1-1 draw away to Football League new boys AFC Wimbledon, who had trailed to Delroy Facey's early goal prior to Jack Midson's equaliser. Plymouth's toils at the bottom end of the table continued as Danny Kedwell scored twice from the penalty spot as Gillingham recorded a 3-0 home success over their 10-man opponents. Burton Albion maintained their unbeaten start to the campaign and picked up a first win in the process after Calvin Zola's goal on the half hour secured a 1-0 success at Southend United. Morecambe remain in the higher echelons of the early table after Kevin Ellison and Lewis Alessandra scored in a 2-0 home triumph over Aldershot. Bristol Rovers are also up among the pacesetters, although Paul Buckle's side were frustrated in a 0-0 draw at Macclesfield Town. Bradford City's disappointing start to the season shows no sign of abating after Jon Nurse's first-half goal gave Dagenham & Redbridge a 1-0 win at Valley Parade. Crewe Alexandra slipped to the bottom of the table and are the only side in the division without a point after going down to a 2-0 loss at Shrewsbury Town, who clinched a first win through goals from Sean McAllister and Nicky Wroe. Port Vale produced a stunning first-half display to hammer Accrington Stanley 4-1 at home, with Sean Rigg netting twice before the interval. Darryl Duffy scored twice and Josh Low netted an 80th minute winner as Cheltenham Town beat Northampton Town 3-2 in a topsy-turvy game at Sixfields.
