Henderson told to focus

Bradford's Paul Henderson has been told to focus on his form by Colin Todd.

Bradford City goalkeeper Paul Henderson, a rumoured transfer target for Championship strugglers Nottingham Forest, has been told to focus on his football by Bantams' boss Colin Todd.

Todd believes that talk of a switch to the City Ground has distracted his Australian goalkeeper.

In an interview with the Telegraph & Argus, Todd said: "I think that things have been playing on Henderson's mind and they are affecting him.

"Certainly I don't think that he was focused at all on Tuesday."

The 28-year old shot stopper has been an ever present for City since his debut against Doncaster in August, but Jamaican international Donovan Ricketts could now be in line for his first Bradford start against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

The Valley Parade club are adamant that they are yet to recieve an offical approach from Forest - who did have representatives watching Henderson during the 4-1 defeat to the MK-Dons.

The game saw an unusually poor showing from the Aussie, who signed for Bradford on a free transfer from Northern Spirit in July.

"He has set very high standards this season but I just felt that everything that has been going on behind the scenes may be having an effect," added the City manager.
