John Ward has revealed Cheltenham Town are close to tying Shane Duff down to a long-term deal.The 24-year-old defender's contract with the League One outfit is due to expire at the end of the season.
Cheltenham boss Ward is keen to retain Duff's services and has revealed talks are progressing well.
"We're not far away with Shane," revealed Ward.
"We've made him an offer and had a chat about what he wants and hopefully we can come up with that very shortly."
