Burnley boss Eddie Howe will try to extend Wolves striker Sam Vokes' loan after Martin Paterson and Junior Stanislas picked up injuries.

Burnley boss Eddie Howe has confirmed he will try to extend Wolves striker Sam Vokes' loan deal after Martin Paterson and Junior Stanislas suffered injuries.
Vokes' two-month stint at Turf Moor came to an end after Burnley's 2-0 win at Middlesbrough on Saturday - a game which saw Paterson and Stanislas both sustain knocks.
Paterson could be out for six weeks with a hamstring injury and Howe is planning to speak to Wolves about keeping Vokes.
The Wales international scored twice in nine appearances for the Clarets, but Wolves boss Mick McCarthy revealed last week that other clubs are interested in Vokes.
Massive downside
"Sam will go back to Wolves, but we will be making a call to see how the land lies," said Howe. "Obviously losing Martin, we may well reassess that, but we're in Wolves' hands."
Regarding the injuries, Howe added: "They are a massive downside for us. It could force our hand to look into the transfer market.
"Martin looks like a hamstring strain and these things are usually six weeks, although from our point of view, and from Martin's, it is positive as it's not his thigh.
"We'll have to assess the damage but I am so disappointed for him.
"I am really disappointed for Junior too. He's been getting better and better and we can see in training all the time how he is progressing."
