Cherries keep on signing

Bournemouth have signed Warren Cummings and James Coutts to new contracts.

Bournemouth boss Sean O'Driscoll has continued his plans for next season by signing Warren Cummings and James Coutts to new one-year contracts.

The news is a boost to defender Cummings, who recently completed a mid-summer training session after missing last season with a broken leg.

Teenage midfielder Coutts (pictured) continues to progress at Dean Court, having come through the youth ranks at the League One club.

The 19-year-old made 15 appearances for The Cherries last term and much more will be expected of him next season.

The news of Cummings and Coutts's new deals follows Stephen Purches's decision to activate the one-year option on his existing contract with the club.

The moves also keeps the utility man with the Dorset outfit for next season.
