Browning to see specialist

BOURNEMOUTH are to send Marcus Browning to see a specialist about his sciatic nerve problem.

The midfielder had to be substituted in the club's game against Colchester on Saturday in what appears to be a re-occurrence of the injury he suffered while he was at Huddersfield Town.

The 32-year-old is due to visit a spinal injuries specialist in London on October 6 and is unlikely to be available to manager Sean O'Driscoll (pictured) for the trip to Chesterfield on Tuesday night.

Browning's place in the starting XI is likely to be taken by the player who replaced him at the weekend, Brian Stock.
