Spanish star Vicente Rodriguez will stay at Brighton for another season after the club exercised their one-year option on his contract.
The playmaker signed a 12-month deal with a one-year option when he joined Albion last September.
Former Spain international Vicente arrived at the AMEX Stadium from Valencia.
The 30-year-old is now committed to the Seagulls until June 30, 2013.
