Colombia international lined up by Brighton
Sky Sports understands Brighton & Hove Albion are ready to win the race to land Colombia international David Gonzalez.
The highly-rated goalkeeper spent the first half of the season on loan from Manchester City at Aberdeen.
The 29-year-old impressed during his spell at Pittodrie and has attracted interest from a number of clubs in England.
And after mutually agreeing to cancel the remaining six months on his contract at City, Gonzalez is set to seal a move elsewhere.
Sky Sports understands that Brighton are in pole position to land him ahead of Championship rivals Burnley and a number of League One clubs.
