Brighton & Hove Albion are set to win the race for non-league starlet Solly March, skysports.com understands. The 17-year-old is currently with Isthmian League outfit Lewes, where he has come through the youth system. March is a left-sided player, who can play in defence and midfield. A number of clubs have been tracking March in recent months, and it is understood Premier League Newcastle United were keen on him along with Portsmouth. But now Brighton are understood to be in pole position to secure his signature and look set agree a deal for March to join them in January.
