Clubs keen on Algerian stopper

A number of Championship clubs are understood to be keen on Fulham defender Raffick Halliche. The Algerian international joined The Cottagers last summer when they paid Benfica more than £1million for his services. But he has been limited to just one Carling Cup appearance since the move, and he is now looking at his options. He signed for Premier League Swansea City on transfer deadline day, but the move was cancelled as Fifa ruled it was not completed in time. Now it is understood Brighton, Burnley and Hull City are all considering making a move for the 25-year-old. "I want to play first team football for sure and need to found that opportunity to do that, hopefully that will materialise," Halliche told skysports.com. Swansea are also believed to maintain an interest in Halliche and could make a fresh move for him in January.
