Norwich City have wrapped up the signing of Andrew Crofts on a three-year contract from Brighton & Hove Albion.
Skysports.com revealed that the Canaries had lined up a deal for the Wales international and the League One champions have now paid an undisclosed fee for the midfielder.
Crofts, who made 50 appearances after joining Brighton from Gillingham last summer, is looking forward to the opportunity of playing Championship football at Carrow Road next season.
"It's a massive club with a lot of ambition and has a lot of history behind it," Crofts told the club's
official website.
"I've played here a few times and the atmosphere has always been brilliant and I wanted to be part of that."
Norwich manager Paul Lambert is confident that the 26-year-old can make an impact next season following the club's promotion.
Lambert said: "He's been their captain and a Welsh international and he's played a lot of games and I'll think he'll do great for us. He's a really strong lad and he scored seven goals for Brighton.
"He's an experienced player, although only 26 so I think he'll do great and hopefully he's going to be a big asset for us."
