Swans ace keen to stay at Liberty Stadium

Andrea Orlandi is keen to sign a new contract at Swansea and expects an offer to be forthcoming. The Spaniard spoke to boss Roberto Martinez at the end of the season and has been assured that he remains part of the club's long-term plans. While a deal is yet to materialise, Orlandi is confident his future will be resolved over the course of the next few weeks. "I spoke to the gaffer on Monday before I flew back to Barcelona and he said he would offer me a new contract," the 24-year-old winger told Wales Online. "He told me to wait a few days and I'm still waiting. I can't do anything until I hear back from the club. But hopefully it will all be sorted soon because I love playing for Swansea. "I'm not worried about it yet. But the longer it goes on, the more nervous you get. I still really want to stay. But I have to see what deal I am offered."
