Jabo Ibehre has explained his reasons for rejecting moves to Brighton and Wycombe in order to stay at Leyton Orient.
The striker had been the subject of £100,000 bids from the duo prior to last Thursday's transfer deadline.
Wycombe boss Paul Lambert has already revealed his disappointment at Ibehre's decision to stay at The O's after the 23-year-old had asked for a transfer.
Ibehre had been upset not to start a League One game this season and has outlined why he declined the chance to join Brighton or Wycombe.
"I love playing football and it's all I want to do, so I asked for a transfer," Ibehre told the club's official website.
"It wasn't necessarily a question of wanting to leave Orient as I love the club, but it was more to do with me wanting to play regular football.
"The club obviously accepted a couple of bids for me last week, but it became clear while I was speaking to Wycombe and Brighton that my future lies at Leyton Orient.
"Now I'm determined more than ever to fight for a starting place at Leyton Orient and reward the faith that the gaffer has shown in me."
