One in, one out for Terriers

Huddersfield have snapped up Danny Adams, but allowed Akpo Sodje to leave.

Huddersfield Town have snapped up left back Danny Adams, but allowed Akpo Sodje to leave.

Adams (pictured) has been on trial at The Galpharm Stadium after his release from Stockport County.

Town boss Peter Jackson has wasted little time in securing Adams until the end of the season.

"That position has been problematic for us all season and I have brought Danny in to see what he can do for us until the end of the season," said Jackson.

"He has experience, he's aggressive and he's good on the ball and it is down to him to prove that he warrants an extension to his contract."

Meanwhile, Sodje has completed his loan move to Darlington.

The striker has been on trial at The Williamson Motors Stadium and has now done enough to earn a deal until the end of the season.
