Hereford striker to serve three-match ban

Hereford striker Steve Guinan will be forced to serve a three-match ban, the Football Association has confirmed. Guinan was sent off against Milton Keynes Dons on Saturday for what was described as 'nothing more than a trip' by Bulls manager Graham Turner. The 31-year-old was shown a straight red card just before half-time by referee Paul Melin for the foul on Dons midfielder Lloyd Dyer. Guinan will now miss Hereford's next three League Two matches against Peterborough, Darlington and Mansfield. The former Plymouth and Cheltenham front man can return to action in the FA Cup first round on 10th November.
