Northampton Town goalkeeper Mark Bunn has signed up to Sixfields until 2008.
The highly-rated 21-year-old has extended his contract with The Cobblers, despite a lack of first team football this season.
Former Arsenal keeper Lee Harper has been between the sticks for the majority of Town's promotion-winning season from League Two.
But the veteran is 34 years of age, and Bunn will be hopeful of forcing his way into the reckoning for the first XI over the next two seasons.
The young shot-stopper emerged on to the League Two scene in the summer of 2005, keeping a clean sheet on his debut, in the 3-0 win over Queens Park Rangers at home.
He is a graduate of The Cobblers' youth system and will be looking to improve on his two appearances for the club this term.
