No new keepers for Cobblers

Northampton Town have dismissed reports that they are in the market for a keeper.

Northampton Town boss Colin Calderwood has dismissed reports that he is in the market for a new goalkeeper.

The former Tottenham Hotspur coach stated his support for Lee Harper and Mark Bunn, claiming he is not on the lookout for a new custodian at The Sixfields Stadium.

"We have two very good keepers in the first team squad in Lee Harper and Mark Bunn and I am not looking to change that," the Scot told Northampton's official website.

"We are talking to a number of players about the possibility of coming to join us, but we are not interested in any goalkeepers.

"I am more than happy with the two keepers who are currently at the club and any speculation that we have offered contracts to any other keepers is not true."
