Powell brings in Tykes striker
Sky Sports understands Barnsley striker Danny Haynes has agreed a deal to join League One hopefuls Charlton.
Sky Sports revealed on Thursday that Charlton had agreed a fee with Barnsley for the 23-year-old as Chris Powell looks to bolster his attacking options.
Haynes has now agreed personal terms and passed a medical at the Valley and is expected to sign a two-and-a-half-year deal with the League One leaders.
Millwall also expressed an interest in signing Haynes, but the Addicks have won the race for the former Ipswich hit-man.
Haynes has found himself out of favour at Barnsley recently, having not started for the Tykes since August.
