Rotherham, Gillingham and Southend maintained their 100 per cent starts to the League Two season on Saturday, while AFC Wimbledon and Crawley Town earned historic first-ever league wins.
Gareth Evans and Adam Le Fondre notched braces as
Rotherham came from behind to win 4-1 at
Plymouth and head the early table.
Gillingham kept up with the pace at the top after a 2-1 win at
Crewe, who sit in the early drop zone with their second successive league defeat.
Chris Whelpdale and Danny Spiller netted to make it two wins out of two for Andy Hessenthaler's side, while Shaun Miller scored a late consolation for the hosts.
Southend also maintained their perfect league start thanks to a 2-1 win over
Accrington.
Ryan Hall scored a 67th minute winner after Stanley's Andrew Procter had earlier equalised Liam Dickinson's second minute penalty, with the hosts' day then getting even worse when Kevin McIntyre was sent off for a second bookable offence.
