Skysports.com understands Charlton Athletic are leading the chase to sign Barnet winger Mark Marshall.

Notts County and Millwall are also keen on Barnet winger

Skysports.com understands Charlton Athletic are leading the chase to sign Barnet winger Mark Marshall. The 24-year-old has been an impressive performer for Barnet since joining from Swindon Town last year and has made over 50 appearances for the club. He has started all seven games so far this season after telling skysports.com earlier in the summer of his desire to be given the chance to play at a higher level. Marshall could now be offered that opportunity before the transfer window closes, with Charlton sweet on the wide-man. Charlton boss Chris Powell has been one of the most active managers in the transfer market over the past couple of months and may not have stopped his recruitment drive yet. League One rivals Notts County, who are managed by former Barnet boss Martin Allen, and Championship side Millwall are also keen on Marshall.
