Sky Sports understands midfielder Richie Wellens is poised to leave Doncaster Rovers.
Wellens only joined Rovers earlier this month on a short-term deal after cancelling his contract at Leicester City.
The 33-year-old has started all four games for Doncaster this season in all competitions, but it is believed he is set to cut short his stay at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Wellens is expected to secure his release from the club so that he can fix himself up with a new club before the close of the transfer window.
The news will be a blow for Rovers boss Paul Dickov as Wellens has established himself as a key member of his side since returning to South Yorkshire for a second spell at the club.
