The 23-year-old joined Derby last summer on a permanent deal from Millwall and has quickly established himself as their leading striker.
He has already bagged 11 goals this term and his performances in the Championship have not gone unnoticed.
Premier League clubs are known to be monitoring his progress, but Sky Sports also understands a number of Championship clubs are ready to test Derby's resolve.
Birmingham City, Blackpool, Leicester and Leeds United are all believed to be monitoring his situation closely.
