Boss expects his son to add a creative spark during loan spell

Kilmarnock manager Kenny Shiels is confident his son Dean can add a creative spark after signing the attacking midfielder on loan from Doncaster Rovers until January. Shiels junior has scored 10 goals in almost 90 appearances for Doncaster since his 2009 arrival from Hibs, but has now returned to the SPL. He featured as a second-half substitute in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Motherwell and is expected to make an impact at Rugby Park in the coming months. "Dean is someone who is both creative and productive as well," said Killie chief Kenny Shiels. "He scores goals, he creates goals. "He is a player I know will help alleviate the pressure from the striker. We have got the flair to score goals."
