Aberdeen have completed the signing of Feyenoord defender Ferne Snoyl.

Aberdeen have completed the signing of Feyenoord defender Ferne Snoyl.

The left back has moved to Pittodrie on loan until the end of the season after agreeing terms with Jimmy Calderwood's outfit.

The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Den Bosch, and although he has featured in seven first team games at De Kuip this season, he has been allowed to move on.

"I am very excited with it," said Snoyl. "It's a good chance to play again."

Meanwhile, Aberdeen midfielder Gary Dempsey has joined Doncaster Rovers on trial.

The 25-year-old only arrived in The Granite City last year, but he has failed to hold down a first team place and is now looking to seal a move to Belle Vue.

Doncaster have room in their squad after they confirmed the release of defender Tim Ryan.
