The 20-year-old, who would have been out of contract at the end of this season, has now extended his stay at Belle Vue for a further three years. It is a move that Green is obviously delighted with.
"I'm really pleased to be offered this extension earlier than I thought," the Sheffield-born player said.
Doncaster are currently riding high in Division Three following their promotion from The Nationwide Conference last season.
In renewing Green's contract they are rewarding him for the role he has played in achieving that success.
"It is a great club and one that is going places," Green added.
"The chairman is one of the best around so it's nice to repay his confidence and the manager's in giving me the chance to play in The Football League."
