Wycombe needed an injury time winner from Mike Williamson to defeat Lincoln 2-1. Marvin Robinson had put The Imps ahead on 52 minutes but strikes from Williamson (69,90) secured all three points for John Gorman's men.

In the top of the table clash at Blundell Park Leyton Orient defeated Grimsby 1-0 after Craig Easton notched his first goal of the season which also saw them move into the automatic promotion places.

Chester rescued a point at home to Bury after a Ryan Lowe penalty on 78 minutes handed them parity after Bury had taken a first half lead through Dwayne Mattis (10).

The other two games in the division between Notts County and Carlisle, and Oxford and Boston, finished as stalemates.
