The 26-year-old initially joined The Cumbrians in October and player-manager Paul Simpson has decided to keep him at Brunton Park for another four weeks.
He has scored one goal in nine appearances for the Third Division side this term and Simpson will hope Arnison can aid the club in their battle to get out of trouble from the foot of the Football League table.
Meanwhile, winger Ryan Baldaccino has joined Scottish Third Division side Gretna following his release from Carlisle.
Striker Craig Russell has also been released by Simpson in the last week.
