Swansea look set to complete the signing of St Etienne defender Franck Tabanou within the next 24 hours.

Tabanou, who has represented France at under-21 level, is having a medical on Thursday and is expected to become Swansea's second signing of the summer.

It has been reported that Swansea will splash out around £3.5m for the 26-year-old who they first wanted to sign in January.

Tabanou's agent Philippe Lamboley said: "He has chosen Swansea. He has told me he is not interested in any other offers from any other clubs."
