League One Pro Life

Lee Trundle brings us his latest exclusive column.

Well things have certainly changed around here a bit since the last time I was with you.

As you will all know Roberto Martinez has been installed as manager and things have really picked up.

It has not taken him long to change things, but there is a bit of difference.

Training was the first area he looked at and that is different now, I would say it is a more continental approach to what we are all used to - but I love it.

It is ball work mainly, so for a player like me that loves the ball at his feet - then it is great.

I think the gaffer has looked at us and thought that we are short in that area.

Our overall fitness is not an issue, and you could see that - but with the talent we have at Swansea - we are more than callable of really playing some good stuff, and I think that has been increasing in recent weeks.

Unfortunately I have been missing because of suspension and again miss this weekend's clash - following my red card at Tranmere.

I really don't need to go into too much detail about my sending off, for those who have seen it - it speaks for itself.

In my opinion I don't think either was justified, and the comments after the game suggest everyone agrees with me. Chris Kamara and Rob McAffrey I know featured the incident heavily on their Sky Sports show on Sunday morning and they were not too happy.

Obviously at the end of the day I am still suspended and it is so frustrating at this crucial point of the season, we are just behind the play-off places and there is a real confidence that we can break into the top-seven.

Well I will be back in action next week and I just hope the next time I join you - Swansea are firmly in the promotion hunt, where we belong!

Thanks

Lee

Robert Gill
Lee, as the season is drawing to a close which League one side has been the hardest to play against and who do you think deserves the title?

Well Robert I think Scunthorpe are the pick of the division. The table really does not lie and they have performed at a high standard all season and they have a  striker in Billy Sharp banging in the goals - so you could not deny they are the best at the moment.
