Swansea pair cautioned

Lee Trundle and Alan Tate have been cautioned by South Wales Police.

Swansea City duo Lee Trundle and Alan Tate have both been cautioned by police following their post-match celebrations after the Football League Trophy win over Carlisle.

Police received a number of complaints about the pair after they were seen carrying a Welsh Flag bearing an insulting message while Trundle also wore an offensive garment.

"Following an incident at the conclusion of the Football League Trophy at The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on Sunday April 2, a 23-year-old man and a 29-year-old man have today received police cautions for public order offences," a statement from South Wales Police read.

The pair were also charged by The Football Association of Wales and could face lengthy bans for their actions.
