There was better news for Wrexham when they confirmed a deal has been agreed to buy the club.
A consortium headed by local businessman Neville Dickens are to help provide a long-term future for the club.
"I am delighted that, after considerable effort, we are in a position to proceed with the administrators," Dickens told Wrexham's official website.
