Swansea City defeated Wrexham 2-1 in the FAW Premier Cup final.
Danny Williams put through his own net eight minutes before the interval when trying to cut out a cross and the home side were soon further adrift when Rory Fallon (pictured) hit the target from close range.
Substitute Simon Spender pulled a goal back with 18 minutes remaining but City held on to win at The Racecourse Ground and scoop the £100,000 prize money.
There was better news for Wrexham when they confirmed a deal has been agreed to buy the club.
A consortium headed by local businessman Neville Dickens are to help provide a long-term future for the club.
"I am delighted that, after considerable effort, we are in a position to proceed with the administrators," Dickens told Wrexham's official website.
