Oldham set for non-league swoop

OLDHAM ATHLETIC are set to sign Chesham United striker Wayne Andrews.

Andrews, 24, is set to become the second Chesham player to arrive at Boundary Park in just two months, after defender Fitz Hall joined The Latics.

Hall has been a massive success during his short time in Lancashire and now the Second Division outfit have followed this up with a move for Andrews.

Andrews began his career with Watford before moving to Peterborough and then into non-league football with St. Albans, Aldershot and then Chesham.

The striker, who has scored 23 times this season, is out of contract at Chesham and the Ryman League club look set to lose him to Oldham, as he comes close to agreeing the switch.
