Blackpool midfielder Chris Basham has welcomed the international break after a spell on the sidelines with an ankle problem.
Basham, who could return against Birmingham after missing his side's last two matches, is grateful for the extra week of rest provided by the recess.
He told the club's official website: "I can't wait to be back involved; I had my boots on which was a nice feeling.
"By the back end of this week I'll certainly be training with the lads again, and looking forward to the Birmingham game. I've not lost much fitness, because I'd been playing every game, so I should be fine.
"I'll definitely be involved at Birmingham if everything goes well this week, which will be good, that is the main thing."
