Sky Sports understands Nottingham Forest are lining up a move for Sheffield Wednesday winger Michail Antonio.

Forest boss Stuart Pearce is keen to bolster his attacking options and is ready to make a move to bring Antonio to the City Ground.

Antonio has been at Wednesday since joining the club initially on loan from Reading in February 2012.

The 24-year-old helped Wednesday win promotion during his loan spell before the move became permanent in the summer of 2012.

Antonio has established himself as a key player in the Wednesday side and his performances have alerted a number of clubs in the Premier League as well as the Championship.

Forest are ready to test Wednesday's resolve to hang onto Antonio as Pearce wants to add pace to his side as he looks to build a squad capable of challenging for promotion to the Premier League.
