Evans seals Millers switch

Nottingham Forest midfielder Paul Evans has joined Rotherham United on a month's loan.

Nottingham Forest midfielder Paul Evans has joined Rotherham United on a month's loan.

The 31-year-old has been training with The Millers for the past two weeks and is now free to make his debut against Barnsley this weekend.

Evans has been delighted with the reception he has received at Millmoor and is now hoping to help the South Yorkshire side pull away from the wrong end of the League One table.

"I am delighted to be back playing again," Evans told Rotherham's official website.

"The lads have been very good to me during the last couple of weeks as they have made it very easy for me to settle in here.

"Now I am just hoping that I can help them to pull away from the wrong end of the table.

"I haven't started a first team game so far this season and when I first arrived here my fitness was a little behind the other lads but I have worked hard on that aspect.

"So I am feeling good again and I am raring to play."
