Brentford have signed Bristol City defender Matt Heywood.
Bees boss Leroy Rosenior has been looking to bolster his central defensive options and Heywood has arrived on an initial one-month loan.
Rosenior is also hoping to soon announce the capture of the versatile veteran Georges Santos.
"Georges can play at centre back, in central midfield or in attack," Rosenior said.
"He can play but he is also aggressive, so he will give us that option up front - if he signs."
