Noble seals Robins move

Bristol City have completed the permanent signing of midfielder David Noble.

Bristol City have completed the permanent signing of midfielder David Noble from Boston United.

The former Arsenal and West Ham United man initially joined The Robins on loan back in November before sealing his permanent move for an undisclosed fee this week.

The 23-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the League One club and is pleased to have completed his move to the West Country outfit.

"I made it clear to everyone from the moment I arrived that I wanted to sign permanently and now that it's happened, I'm very happy," Noble told the club's official website.

"When I first came here, I knew the club's potential, but the lads were obviously a bit down because they were on such a bad run.

"I'm sure the future here is bright - whatever the outcome of this season."
