Forest chop down Robins

Nottingham Forest piled the misery on Bristol City with a 3-1 win.

Nottingham Forest secured their second win in four days with a 3-1 success over Bristol City.

The win was the perfect way for the Forest faithful at The City Ground to celebrate the one year anniversary of Brian Clough's death.

Forest had to come from a goal down for all three points after Steven Gillespie gave City the lead on 15 minutes.

The home side fought back and drew level on 25 minutes when Jack Lester converted from the penalty spot.

James Perch turned the game on its head two minutes later by firing Forest in front.

Kris Commons made sure of the win with the third goal on 55 minutes to help ease the pressure on Gary Megson, while the misery continues for managerless City.
