Midfielder excited by the prospect of League One football

Bury midfielder Damien Mozika is relishing the challenge of playing League One football next season. The talented Frenchman made 32 league starts for The Shakers as they finished second - winning promotion in the process. Mozika accepts it will be a step up for the club, however, he remains confident the Gigg Lane outfit can turn heads in the division. "I'm happy playing in League One next season. I think we did well this year to get promoted," he told skysports.com. "It's going to be a tough league. It will be a little bit hard, but we've got good players and I think we can do well in League One." Mozika's impressive form has been attracting interest from elsewhere and he is flattered to be linked with clubs higher up the rankings. "I know some clubs are interested in me," he continued. "I'm flattered by the interest. "Every player wants to play at a higher level. I don't just want to leave Bury for Bury. "I'm on holiday now and I'm leaving everything to my agent and he's got my best interests at heart." Mozika is an ambitious player and he admits it is a personal dream of his to grace the Premier League one day. "I believe in myself. I know I can get better and better and I hope to one day play in the Premier League," he said. "I know some Championship clubs and League One clubs like me so I hope to keep progressing in my career."
