Leyton Orient boss Geraint Williams admits he plans to dip into the loan market before the deadline shuts later this month.
The O's are just five points above the League One relegation zone, but ended an eight-game sequence without a win last weekend with a 2-0 victory over Walsall.
Williams is under no illusions that his side needs strengthening, though, and he is keeping his eyes open for the right deal to up competition for places.
"There are still one or two places that we'd like to sure up a little bit, but the loan window closes at the end of March, so we are hoping to bring in a few additions before then," he told
skysports.com.
"Hopefully, some fresh faces will give everyone a lift and also keep up the pressure for places through till the end of the season.
"It can often change within 24 hours in football, so I'm not sure how quickly we'll be able to bring them in.
"Players become available and unavailable within a matter of hours, so we are constantly watching games and on the phone to see what is available."
Sean Thornton grabbed a brace against the Saddlers and insists the midfielder can be one of the best players in the division should he install consistency to his game.
"We know how much ability he has in his locker and he is a very calm player in and around the box," said Williams of Thornton.
"He showed that with his two well-taken goals at the weekend, but it is all about getting that consistency into his game.
"On his day he is one of the best midfielders in the league, but producing that week in, week out, is the key for him."
