Dons defender to build up fitness on loan at Cobblers
MK Dons defender Danny Swailes has joined local rivals Northampton Town on a month-long loan.
Swailes - who played the full 90 minutes of Dons' 4-3 defeat to Carlisle on Tuesday night - is returning to full fitness after an Achilles injury and will be at Sixfields until New Year's Eve.
"I am pleased to bring Danny in," said manager Ian Sampson told the club's official website.
"He is an experienced defender and we have been looking to strengthen in that area.
"He has got a good physical presence and he can organise and I am sure he will be a good addition to the squad.
"He is a no-nonsense player and a good organiser and communicator and I would like to welcome him to the club."
