Rovers sign winger on short-term contract
Tranmere have confirmed the signing of winger Seb Carole on a short-term contract.
Skysports.com revealed earlier in the week that the club were in talks with the Frenchman over a possible deal.
Carole, 27, fell out of contract with Brighton when his four-month deal expired at the end of last season.
Signing for Rovers on a short-term deal until January, the experienced winger will be in contention for a starting berth for the trip to Exeter on Saturday.
Tranmere boss John Barnes told the club's official website: "I'm pleased to add Seb to our squad.
"He's a pacey winger who will add to our attacking options."
Carole has enjoyed a fruitful career since his move to England from French Ligue 1 side Monaco in 2004.
Initially joining West Ham on loan, he went on to play for Leeds United and Darlington in between successful spells with Brighton.
