Vincent and Till looking to impress

Walsall continue to run the rule over Jamie Vincent and Peter Till as they look to earn permanent contracts. The pair featured in the Saddlers' 2-1 victory over Rotherham on Saturday, turning in commendable displays. They are likely to be awarded another opportunity to impress on Tuesday when Walsall play host to local rivals Wolves. Vincent is an experienced defender who has been involved in the professional game for 16 years. His much-travelled career has taken in spells at the likes of Crystal Palace, Portsmouth and Derby, while he is currently unattached after being released by Swindon. Till is a product of the Birmingham City youth academy, but he failed to make the grade at St Andrews. He did enjoy a number of productive loan spells during his time with the Blues, including a short stint at Grimsby, but he was deemed surplus to requirements by the Mariners this summer.
