Wilson to decide whether to hand striker a contract

Swindon Town will decide over the weekend whether to offer trialist Cherno Samba a contract. The former Plymouth striker has been part of the Robins' pre-season tour of Austria this week, playing in the friendly games against FC Cluj and FC Universitatea Craiova, while also spending a week training in Wiltshire before their trip. Samba will discover if he has earned a deal at the County Ground on Monday, once manager Danny Wilson has fully assessed his striking options. "We will make a decision over the weekend as to whether we invite him back or not," Wilson told the Advertiser. "I will sit down with the staff and discuss it, then we will make our decision and tell him."
