Huddersfield have completed the signing of Gateshead striker Lee Novak for an undisclosed fee.

However, striker will be immediately loaned back to Gateshead

Huddersfield have completed the signing of Gateshead striker Lee Novak for an undisclosed fee. Novak has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at the Galpharm Stadium after leaving the Blue Square North division outfit. The 20-year-old, who has spent time at Scottish outfit Gretna during his career, will, however, be immediately loaned back to Gateshead. Huddersfield boss and former Newcastle star Lee Clark told the club's official website: "I'm delighted with the signing of Lee. "We are loaning him straight back to Gateshead until the end of the season as he is a player for the future for us. "We want good, young, hungry players that are prepared to work hard in order to improve." And Novak added: "I used to go and watch Newcastle when Lee used to play and our coaching staff were there, so working with them will be brilliant for me. "It was definitely an easy decision for me to make."
